This refers to the position in which your blind is mounted. Inside Mount blinds are the most common and will fit inside the window casing. Outside Mount blinds are most commonly used on doors or older windows that do not have enough room in the window casing. Outside mount blinds will be commonly mounted on walls, trim, or doors.
Multiple blinds or shades on one headrail. This feature is usually recommended when you are trying to cover large widows. The most common time you will have a 2-N-1 is with very wide Wood or Faux Wood blinds. If a manufacturer recommends that a blind be made as a 2-N-1, you can request that it be made as one solid blind but you will void the manufacturer’s warranty.
Lift strings raise and lower your blind. What side of the blind do you want them on?
Tilters open and close your blinds by changing the angle in the window. What side of the blind do you want the tilter on?
Wand tilters use an attached stick that is twisted to change the angle of a blind. Cord tilters use a fly wheel with two strings to open and close the blind. We highly recommend cord tilters, especially with large blinds.
Mark each blind with its room location for easy identification.
Standard Roll-The blind will roll down with the fabric coming off the back of the shade. This allows the shade to be as close to the window/wall as possible.
Reverse Roll-The blind will roll down with the fabric coming off the front of the shade. This allows the shade to have extra space from the wall.
These are the bottom holders that are used on door blinds. When installed properly, these brackets will keep you blind from flying all over as the door is opened and closed.
These are used to mount a blind on a door when the window has a small molding around it. The spacer blocks lift the blind .25” off the door.
