How do I know what part I need?

    Can I repair a blind?

Yes! Blinds are very simple machines once you look at them closely. Most repairs are as easy as taking a part off and putting another one on. Detailed instructions come with every part and our trained staff will be glad to walk you through it over the phone if you need more help.

    Do you offer instructions?

Yes. Every repair part will have detailed instructions that will explain how to use your parts. As our site continues to grow, we will be able to offer DVD instructions.

What if I order the wrong parts?

Returns are accepted for exchange only. If you need a different type or just ordered the wrong thing, contact us immediately and you will be able to switch it out for another part. There will be no additional shipping for an exchange. Contact us for exchange instructions; do not just mail the part back.

Do you offer any warrantee on repair parts?

All repair parts are covered by two year warranty. If you blind part fails within two years, contact us for replacement.

How long will it take for me to receive my parts?

Most parts are in stock and mailed the next business day. On occasion, we may be waiting on a shipment. In that case, you will be notified of the delay and your part will be shipped as soon as it is available.

Can I send you my blind and have you fix it?

Sure. Our sister company is the largest blind repair company in Texas. We are experts when it comes to blind repair. Simply contact us for details and a Repair Order Number. Your blind will be shipped back to you the very next day, if possible.

Can I email you a picture of what is broken?

Send a picture of your broken part and we will help you match it with the part you need. Send all emails to picture@blindstop.com

    Do you charge for shipping?

BlindStop has decided to take a very honest approach to shipping. Each package we send out will cost us about $1.50 for packaging and $1.50 for actual postage. With that in mind, each order will have a $3.00 surcharge applied at checkout. Shipping charges may vary with bulk orders.

Do you have a catalog or brochures?

BlindStop does not offer printed catalogs or brochures. Printing costs would drive our prices up and we can’t have that now can we...

What if I can’t find the part that I need?

Email a picture of the part that you are looking for. As time goes on, blinds are made with different parts. BlindStop displays parts that are used in today’s blinds. We carry hundreds of parts that are not displayed online. If you need it, we will find it.

How do I know what size string I need?

As you browse through the restring kits, each kit will detail what kind of blind/shade the string should be used on. If you have any questions, contact us and we will walk you through it.

I know what is broken, but what is it called?

Use our Vocabulary Aide to help you see the names of every part. Each part is listed with a detailed description, as well as a picture to tie it all together.

Does the brand matter when repairing a blind?

Sometimes. Some companies use brand specific parts while most use very generic parts. The benefit of a brand specific part is that it will not look like the rest. Finding your needed part should be very easy. Also, most blinds that require specific parts will be easily identifiable by the brand sticker on the bottom rail.
