Can I change my order, how about cancellations?
The honest truth is, “you never know until you try.” Typically, if an order has been processed for more than 24 hours, there is now way to stop the order without loss of money. If you follow our measuring instructions, you should be error free. In the event of an error, we have the best “Oops” policy...we will remake your blind at 50% of cost. Please contact customer service for more details.
Will I get an order confirmation?
BlindStop.com works very hard at keeping you informed while you wait for your blinds. You will receive regular email updates to let you know when your order has gone into production, when your order has finished, and expected delivery dates with tracking numbers.
Do I pay for shipping?
Not on most orders. BlindStop.com ships thousands of blinds a month, and with that volume we have negotiated special shipping rates that we consider a cost of doing business. There are extra shipping charges on orders with sizes greater than 96 inches.
When does BlindStop charge my credit card?
Because all products are custom made for you, all payments must be cleared before your order is put into production. Credit card processing is usually done within 24 hours of your order. Orders paid for by personal/company check will be held until funds are verified.
How does BlindStop protect my credit card?
Very! All credit card transactions are handled thru our secure server and processed by an industry leading processing company. Not even BlindStop employees will see your credit card information. We use SSL technology that encrypts all of your information, so we are the only ones that will ever see it.
Does BlindStop share any of my personal information?
Never. BlindStop will never sell or share your information to any third party. We will even delete your information from our system if you request.
Who is responsible for accurate measurements?
Ultimately you are responsible for proper measurements. We provide detailed measuring instructions for you to follow. Getting your sizes right is not only very important, it is also easy to do. If there is a sizing error, we can often fix the problem or you can take advantage of our “Oops” policy, allowing you to have the blind remade at 50% off. *** Here is a little hint, the big home improvement stores will have someone come to your home and measure for you for $30. You can take those measurements and order at BlindStop.com and save a tone of money***
What if I measure something incorrectly?
BlindStop offers an industry leading “Oops” Policy that allows for an occasional mistake to get fixed in an affordable fashion. If you order a blind that is too wide or long, the solution is a lot easier than one that is too narrow or short. Sometimes the factories will be able to cut down a blind to fit what you need. In any event, we are here to help, and the solution is almost always an easy one.
Can I return the blinds I purchased?
Since all products are made to your custom measurements, they cannot be returned unless it is for warrantee repairs. As long as you follow the measurement instructions, we guarantee your blinds will fit wonderfully. If your blinds are made with a mistake that is our doing, we will have the blinds remade immediately. If the mistake came from your side, the products may be returned to the factory for alteration or you can take advantage of our “Oops” policy.
Does BlindStop offer blinds outside of the continental United States?
Currently, BlindStop does not offer blinds outside of the greater 48 states. We will be expanding our delivery reach very soon. Please call or email if you have special needs.

Does the brand of my blind really matter?
Not really. Generally brands such as Graber and Comfortex are going to be willing to do more for you on a customer service level, where as smaller companies may not have the ability to do quite as much for you. We all want good stuff at the lowest prices, but when it comes to blinds, it is often better to buy exactly what you want the first time so that you do not have to buy again.
What kind of blinds would be best for me?
See our product comparison page located in the Customer Service tab at the top of each page.
Can I install blinds by myself?
Blind installation is a very easy process. Typically a blind will require a drill and four screws to install. Cellular shades, roman shades, and roller shades may require even less. Shutters are a bit more technical to install, but our customer service department is fully trained on how to make it as easy as possible.
Can I pay someone to install by blinds?
Yes! Big home improvement stores will not do it for you but you can hire a handyman to install them or watch for two very good links on the checkout pages. National Blind Installers will install your blinds or you can search thru ServiceMagic.com for installers as well.
Do the blinds come with installation hardware?
Yes. All blind/shades will come with everything you need, including easy to follow instructions.
Are the instructions easy to understand?
Thousands of everyday people have ordered blinds from BlindStop and had no troubles at all. You can do it too. If you ever have any problems understanding what to do, just contact us and we will walk you thru it.
